In line with its vision to create a community-centric neighbourhood at its twentyfive7 township, Gamuda Land signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with vendor partners on a new commercial area.

The developer is set to expand Quayside @ twentyfive7 with the introduction of Quayside Plaza.

Gamuda Land teamed up with several tenant and vendor partners from a range of businesses including fitness, edutainment, food and beverage and healthcare for the launch.

“In selecting our esteemed partners, we carefully consider what is available in the surrounding township and how we can help our community fill in the gaps,” said Gamuda Land twentyfive7 general manager Suzan Wong.

“The strong demand for commercial units especially with lakefront locations proves the confidence in the vibrancy of twentyfive7.

“We thank all of our tenants and business partners for putting their trust in us.

“We are excited to see the master plan unfold before our eyes and how twentyfive7 can deliver the needs of the community,” Wong said at the signing ceremony held at twentyfive7 Experience Gallery in Telok Panglima Garang, situated near Kota Kemuning, Selangor.

She shared that they were optimistic about Quayside Plaza’s success, considering its close proximity to the established Quayside Mall.

Wong added that the MOU signing ceremony signified a significant milestone in the township’s development, underlining Gamuda Land’s commitment to all stakeholders.

With an estimated population of 1.5 million residents in surrounding areas within a 10km radius of twentyfive7, and a minimum footfall of 150,000 into the township weekly, the introduction of Quayside Plaza alongside the existing Quayside Mall holds significant promise.

Ongoing discussions are also being held with potential wellness, education and F&B partners to supplement the strong mix of tenants in the Quayside area.

The twentyfive7 township comprises 104ha of mixed integrated townships in the south of Kota Kemuning.

Anchoring the Quayside area is Quayside Mall and the upcoming Quayside District, an al-fresco-styled commercial area.

The Quayside also houses a 2.83ha area of park space which features a lake and ample amounts of family-friendly activities.

Also present at the event were Gamuda Land chief operating officer Wong Siew Lee and executive director Sueway Tan; Regen Healthcare Centre commercial director Dr Niran Noor and executive director Dr Shawn Moodley; Ace Edventure founder Anne Tham; Optimum Train Global director Teh Kian Teck; Anytime Fitness regional manager Bryan Christopher Leong; MyBurgerlab executive director Karthiik Doraisingam; Joe Junior Edutainment director Grace Chan; Kinohimitsu chief operating officer Jennifer Chin; Robothink director Eddie Choong; Koong Woh Tong assistant general manager Calvin Leong; BarTailor director Jane Lau; BlueBricks Resources chief executive officer Katrina Lau Wai Ping; and Jihun Korean Fried Chicken director Wilson Chua.
